A dog injured at a Nashua home is expected to recover, according to court reporting by Patch. Adrian Antonio Baez Paulino is charged with felony animal cruelty and two counts of criminal trespassing in the case.
Police responded to a trespassing complaint on September 16. The dog’s owner reported three puncture wounds, according to a police account published by Nashua Ink Link. Officers arrested Baez Paulino the following day after another trespassing report.
Veterinary care and a court appearance
Patch reported that the injured dog was a Schnauzer and that a veterinarian found wounds consistent with a sharp object. The dog received treatment for its injuries and an infection.
Baez Paulino appeared by video for a September 18 arraignment and was ordered detained, Patch reported. The allegations have not been proven in court.
