Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Buddylio mobile application ("Buddylio" or the "App"). Please read them carefully. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Buddylio

Buddylio is a wellness tracking application for dogs who need extra care. The App allows owners to log daily observations across six areas (appetite, mobility, pain, energy, mood, and sleep) and to review patterns over time. The App also generates a Veterinary Summary PDF that the owner may share with a veterinarian.

Buddylio is available on iOS and Android.

2. Operator

The App is operated by Reelygood S.R.L. ("we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in Romania. References to "Buddylio" in these Terms refer to the App itself; references to the operator refer to Reelygood S.R.L.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the App. By using Buddylio, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

5. Not Veterinary Advice

Buddylio is a wellness tracking tool. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition or illness. The information provided by the App, including any score, trend, or alert, is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult a qualified veterinarian about your animal's health. If you believe your animal is in distress or requires urgent care, contact a veterinarian or emergency animal clinic right away.

6. Your Content

Any information you enter into the App, including your dog's name, daily check-ins, photos, notes, medications, and weight, is your content. You retain all rights to that content. The App stores this information locally on your device. We do not claim ownership of, and do not have access to, your content.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App in any unlawful manner, to interfere with the operation of the App, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or any related systems. You are responsible for the security of the device on which the App is installed.

8. App Store Terms

Your download and use of the App is also subject to the terms and conditions of the platform from which you obtained the App, including the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. In the event of a conflict between those platform terms and these Terms relating to download and installation, the platform terms will prevail to the extent of the conflict.

For iOS users, Apple's standard End User License Agreement also applies: Apple Standard EULA.

9. Buddylio Pro Subscriptions

Buddylio may offer optional Buddylio Pro auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your platform.

• Buddylio Pro Monthly is offered at $5.99 per month.
• Buddylio Pro Annual is offered at $49.99 per year.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Subscription prices may vary by country or region and are shown in the purchase sheet before you confirm. Buddylio does not receive your full payment card details.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Reelygood S.R.L., its directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or harm to any animal, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us, if any, for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including the disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you within the App or by other appropriate means.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Romania, except where applicable consumer protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
