Behavior is communication, and most of the questions owners bring here are really questions about what a dog is responding to. That is usually something in the environment, the routine, or the way people around the dog are behaving, and it is often invisible until someone writes down when the behavior happens.

These guides stay away from training programs and correction techniques. They cover reading what is in front of you, and they say plainly when a behavior change is a reason to rule out pain or illness first. A dog who suddenly does something new is often telling you about their body, not their manners.
